Water / Wastewater Superintendent

APPLICATION PROCESS:

SALARY RANGE: $85,343 To $123,867 Annually, DOQ
POSITION SUMMARY: Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the City’s Water/Wastewater Department; Provides professional assistance to city management staff in areas of expertise; Has frequent contact with other governmental entities, daily contact with other city officers, and the general public that requires the exercise of tact and diplomacy.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent. A Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in water, sewer, and storm water operations. A minimum of three (3) years management and/ or supervision experience in Public Works environment.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Must obtain Class B Water Operator License and Class III Wastewater Collection Operator License within twelve (12) months of hire/appointment to the position.
