Texas Chapter Awards Program
The Texas Chapter has a robust awards program related to the members and the professional work to promote excellence in the public works industry.
TEXAS CHAPTER APWA FIELD AWARDS
The Texas Chapter of APWA is calling for nominations for the 2025 Field Awards. These awards recognize projects designed and constructed by in-house crews as well as dedicated public works staff members around the state of Texas.
The award categories include:
- In-House Project of the Year Guidelines
- Structures: Public structure rehabilitation, municipal buildings, parks, bridges, etc.
- Transportation: Roads, sidewalks, bicycle paths, etc.
- Environmental/Water/Wastewater: Stormwater, water and sanitary sewer, treatment and recycling facilities, landfill reclamation, etc.
- Historical Restoration and Preservation: Restoration and adaptive reuse of existing buildings and facilities, etc.
- Disaster or Emergency Reconstruction or Repair: Flood recovery, drought remediation, storm cleanup, etc.
- Equipment Operator of the Year Guidelines
- Operations Excellence Guidelines
- Field Excellence Guidelines
Nomination Forms
Winners will be recognized at an awards banquet at the 2025 Public WorkShop in College Station on February 11, 2025.
