To meet growing demand, Missouri City launched a series of capital improvement projects (CIPs) to enhance its water system. This case study highlights the award-winning project and demonstrates how regional growth pressures drove CIP planning and the accelerated execution of critical water system upgrades, while the TCEQ Alternative Capacity Requirement (ACR) update helped guide long-term infrastructure strategy. The presentation will cover the application process for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) ACR approval, the new well feasibility study, the execution of groundwater well improvements, and a discussion of ongoing and future infrastructure projects.
