PWX26 Service in Action: Veterans Care Package Initiative
Serving Those Who Served | Supporting Camp HOPE Veterans
Join us in giving back to the Houston community through a meaningful, hands-on service experience at PWX26. The Veterans Care Package Initiative supports Camp HOPE, an organization that provides interim housing and support programs for veterans and their families recovering from PTSD.
During this interactive event attendees will assemble care packages filled with essential and comfort items for the Camp Hope Veterans. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact while connecting with fellow public works professionals who serve their communities every day.
What to Expect:
Quick, engaging experience (approximately 3–5 minutes)
- All materials provided—just stop by and participate
- A meaningful way to support veterans through a simple act of service
- Receive a commemorative “Volunteer service button”
